A number of services are offered for staff and patients by RAH Health Promotion, as set out in the RAH Smoking Cessation Framework.  This document is offered in PDF format

 

Patient screening at RAH

  • Most areas ask smoking status as part of nursing assessment
  • All new admissions will be offered smoking cessation information and services
  • Medical staff, Allied Health staff, Nurses and Lavender Lads & Ladies refer patients to RAH Health Promotion if 1:1 counseling is requested
  • Patients can self refer to RAH Health Promotion
