Students from classes at another two schools in Adelaide have been

The person involved is not a resident of South Australia. However, they
will remain in home isolation in SA for seven days.

Listeria in vacuum packed roast beef - update
SA Health has announced that a number of food product samples from
Kyana Farms and Conroy’s Smallgoods have been tested and have all
returned negative for Listeria.
The tests were undertaken after routine testing last week found Listeria in
sliced vacuum-packed roast beef.

Meningococcal cases, 1 June 2009
A 19 year old man and six month old girl, both from metropolitan
Adelaide, have been admitted to hospital with invasive meningococcal
disease.
No links have been identified between the two cases, or with any of the
recent meningococcal cases in South Australia.
The man is in a serious but stable condition, and the girl is in a stable
condition.

SA Health has announced a seventh confirmed case of Human Swine
Influenza in South Australia.
Four South Australia passengers from the cruise ship Pacific Dawn have
now tested positive for the virus.
There are 11 cases currently under investigation in South Australia.

Human Swine Influenza Update, 26 May 2009
Eight people are currently under investigation for Human Swine Influenza
in South Australia.
Seven of these suspected cases were passengers on the Pacific Dawn
cruise ship, which disembarked in Sydney yesterday. Two children from
Victoria who were on the Pacific Dawn have tested positive for swine flu.

SA Health has announced that three school students investigated for Human Swine Influenza have been given the all clear.
The remaining case that was under investigation has also tested negative for the virus.
There are currently no suspect cases in South Australia. All previous cases have been cleared.

First Swine Flu case in SA, 22 May 2009
SA Health has announced the first confirmed case of Human Swine Influenza
(H1N1 09) in South Australia.
Tests have confirmed a 15 year old girl has the virus. She was given antivirals
when she visited a general practitioner on Tuesday. The test results were
received by SA Health late Thursday.

Meningococcal case, 18 May 2009
An 18 year old male from metropolitan Adelaide has been admitted to hospital with invasive meningococcal disease and is in a serious but stable condition.
SA Health has identified numerous contacts. Of these, four have been directed to receive medical assessment and antibiotic chemoprophylaxis.
