Specialist Dietitians:

  • Cancer - Oncology, Radiotherapy and Bone marrow Transplantation.

Contact -

  • Gastroenterology - Medical and Surgical Gastroenterology (Oesophagogastric, Hepatobilliary and Colorectal surgery).

Contact -

  • Renal - Acute and chronic renal failure including haemo- dialysis and CAPD.

Contact -

  • Nutrition Support - Enteral feeding and oral nutritional support as inpatients and home nutritional support. Tube feeding is used through-out the hospital but particularly in ICU, Head Injury, Gastoenterology, ENT, Burns, Cancer and Stroke areas.

  • Diabetes Center - Individual and group education. General policy and procedure regarding the dietetic management of patients with diabetes.

Contact -

Clinical Dietetics services all areas of the hospital and as well as the above specialties has significant input in:

  • Adult Cystic Fibrosis
  • Cardiac Rehabilitation
