The Royal Adelaide Department of Nutrition and Food Service provides
a comprehensive range of nutrition services which include
- Food and Beverage Service to patients which offers an appropriate choice and complies with set quality
and nutritional standards;
- Clinical Dietetic Service incorporating nutrition support, counselling and education to
promote health and well-being.
- Cafeteria and Function Service
- Health Promotion activities
- Teaching including provision of nutrition and dietetic input to pre and
post-graduate education programs, participation in the teaching
of Nutrition and Dietetic and of Food Service students and apprentice
cooks.
- Consultancy to other health care institutions and organisations on nutrition,
dietetics and food service.
