CLINICAL AREAS

Occupational Therapy services are provided to inpatients referred from the following units/wards:

  • Burns
  • General Medical
  • Geriatric
  • Neurology
  • Neurosurgery
  • Orthopaedic (mostly upper limb conditions and rheumatology)
  • Plastic Surgery (mostly upper limb conditions and scar management)
  • Psychiatry
  • Spinal Injury
  • Stroke
  • Referrals from other units/wards are also accepted

Outpatient services are provided to patients of the:

  • Burns Unit
  • Orthopaedic Unit (mostly upper limb conditions and rheumatology)
  • Plastic Surgery Unit (mostly upper limb conditions and scar management)

Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre

Occupational Therapy services are provided to patients on the following units:

  • Medical Rehabilitation
  • Short Term Rehabilitation
  • Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation
  • Orthopaedic, Amputee and Burns Rehabilitation

These are all inpatient services; except there is a seating clinic for clients of the Spinal Cord Injury Service.
