CLINICAL AREAS
Occupational Therapy services are provided to inpatients referred from the following units/wards:
- Burns
- General Medical
- Geriatric
- Neurology
- Neurosurgery
- Orthopaedic (mostly upper limb conditions and rheumatology)
- Plastic Surgery (mostly upper limb conditions and scar management)
- Psychiatry
- Spinal Injury
- Stroke
- Referrals from other units/wards are also accepted
Outpatient services are provided to patients of the:
- Burns Unit
- Orthopaedic Unit (mostly upper limb conditions and rheumatology)
- Plastic Surgery Unit (mostly upper limb conditions and scar management)
Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre
Occupational Therapy services are provided to patients on the following units:
- Medical Rehabilitation
- Short Term Rehabilitation
- Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation
- Orthopaedic, Amputee and Burns Rehabilitation
These are all inpatient services; except there is a seating clinic for clients of the Spinal Cord Injury Service.
