Is the emergency department the best place for you?

If not, there are other options

Drug & Alcohol issues

The Drug and Alcohol Consultation Liaison Service at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) provides expert guidance and advice to internal clinical staff caring for inpatients who have been identified with drug and alcohol issues. This service is available Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.

The service provides advice on treatment options for patients who are unwell due to their use of alcohol or drugs, while they are under care at the RAH, and assists in the identification of appropriate service for patients for follow-up or additional treatment following discharge.

If you are looking for support for yourself, a family member or friend experiencing drug and alcohol issues, the following services can provide help and advice.
