The Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) Cardiology Clinics at Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) offer public and private (Medicare bulk billed) services for people with adult cardiovascular disease. The clinics consult with:

  • new outpatients
  • continuing outpatients
  • former inpatients requiring follow up.

Clinic times at RAH

  • Clinics operate five days a week for patients with various cardiac conditions including ischaemic heart disease, coronary heart disease, arrhythmias, pacemaker clinics, rapid access chest pain clinic, transcatheter aortic valve implantation clinic, congenital heart conditions and hypertension.

Referral from your GP

You need a referral letter from your GP or medical practitioner to access this service.

Your doctor will need to fax your referral letter to us. We will be in contact with you within clinically recommended times, depending on waiting list length.

If there is no waiting list, you will receive an appointment booking letter or we will contact you to arrange a suitable time.
