The Mental Health Unit at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) is designed to provide the best possible healing environment for consumers, and to streamline access to care.

The Mental Health Unit is an acute unit consisting of 24 Acute Care beds, 10 Psychiatric Intensive Care beds and six Short Stay beds.

The Mental Health Unit also includes an exercise room with exercise bikes, lounges, dining rooms, a pool table, and provisions for game consoles.
