Information & Facts
Since 1840, Royal Adelaide Hospital has served the needs of the community by providing health care of the highest quality to all South Australians.
Maintaining the high standard of care and successful treatments for which Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) is renowned requires a dedication to a greater understanding of health disorders via research.
Many advances in health care which today we take for granted were developed as a result of research undertaken at RAH, the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science (IMVS) and the Hanson Institute.
