Overview
The Speech Pathology
Department provides comprehensive evaluation, consultation and treatment
for people with communication or swallowing disorders. |

The department provides
services for patients at its North Tce and Hampstead Campuses.
North Terrace
- The department treats
adults as both inpatients and outpatients.
- The Adelaide
Voice Clinic is
based at the North Terrace campus and offers specialist assessment diagnosis,
counselling and treatment advice to people experiencing problems with
their voice.
- Flinders University
of South Australia (FUSA) jointly funds the student
unit based
at North Terrace. It sees both inpatients and outpatients as appropriate.
- The department is located on
the 2nd floor of the linkway between the Allied health building
and the Women’s Health Building.
Hampstead Centre
- The department sees
inpatients only.
The Speech Pathology department
is committed to providing a high quality service through ongoing staff development,
appraisal, teaching and clinical research.
