COVID-19 Command Bulletin | 5.30pm 22 December 2020

5.30 pm | 22 December 2020

Hi everyone,

Earlier today we sent out a command bulletin with information about how people from Broken Hill should be considered when they attend our services.

Below is an update to that information.

Arrivals from Broken Hill

Please keep yourself up-to-date with the current health alerts and COVID-19 testing for NSW.

Broken Hill is part of regional NSW and people coming into South Australia from this area need to undertake a COVID-19 test within 24 hours, on day 5 and day 12. (Not day 7 as previously communicated). This applies to both patients and visitors. They do not need to isolate during this time unless they are symptomatic.

This means that we can accept patients from Broken Hill on transfer based on the above if the transfer is clinically appropriate and transfers are approved by consultants.

Kathryn Zeitz
CALHN COVID-19 Commander
