CALHN #givingback to the community

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have received an outpouring of support from the community through letters, songs, drawings and donated goods; and now it’s our turn to give back.

The Central Adelaide Local Health Network has launched a Workplace Giving Program which enables staff to make regular donations from their salary to our chosen charity, the Hutt St Centre.

Without a home, it is much more difficult to self-isolate and engage in social distancing, making rough sleepers vulnerable to coronavirus.

CALHN has chosen to work with the Hutt St Centre, as it offers a place of hope and opportunity for people facing homelessness.

Workplace giving is a simple, yet powerful way to help those who are most vulnerable.

The program will be rolled out across the organisation for a three month trial.
