Organ & tissue donation

DonateLife SA is a state-wide service that coordinates all organ and tissue donation activities in South Australia. As part of the National DonateLife network, DonateLife SA is funded by the Australian Organ and Tissue Authority (OTA).

DonateLife SA’s clinical staff include Donation Specialist Nursing Coordinators (DSNCs) and Donation Medical Specialists who work with other clinicians at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH), Flinders Medical Centre (FMC), Lyell McEwin Hospital (LMH), The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital (WCH).

DonateLifeSA encourages South Australians to make an informed decision about becoming an organ and tissue donor and to discuss their wishes with their family and loved ones. To register your decision on the national donor, visit Australian Organ Donor Register
