Surgical Breast and Endocrine Outpatient Services

The Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) Breast Endocrine Service provides inpatient and outpatient services for patients living in CALHN at both The Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH).

The majority of inpatient care for breast/endocrine conditions occurs at TQEH. Some surgery is also undertaken at the RAH and Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

The RAH provides a tertiary referral service for complex benign and malignant breast and endocrine conditions for individuals both in South Australia and interstate, as well as patients referred from rural and remote areas.

The CALHN Breast Endocrine unit is Australia’s largest tertiary referral centre. For more information please view the Breast and Endocrine outpatient services in CALHN - Single service multiple sites web page.
